Jaguar X Type Console Mount

Step 1. Remove the gear shift gaiter.

Step 2. Remove the ashtray.

Step 3. Remove the plastic trim in the recess.

Step 4. Remove the two screws that are then exposed.

Step 5. Unclip the trim panel around the hazard warning switch.

Step 6. Remove the two screws beneath.

Step 7. Pull out the entire radio / screen unit.

Step 8. Locate the bracket with the phillips screw and the guide pin beneath, in the left of the radio recess.

Step 9. Refit the trim and parts in reverse.
