The European Union have passed legislation that requires all new vehicles that are manufactured from 2012 in the European Union must have Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems installed. Therefore by law all new vehicles will be required have tyre pressure monitoring systems that will be able to indicate that there is a tyre pressure problem.

The Paser Safety Kit is a new product recommended to improve driver safety and includes a tyre pressure monitoring system plus speed limit alerting.

Installed is Plug & Play: No sensors are required in the car or tyres!

System settings can be directly controlled from the car steering wheel commands. If your car it is not equipped with steering wheel commands you can manage the kit functions by using a “set up” switch to configure the interface.

Tyre Pressure Monitoring
The tyre pressure monitoring system main function is to monitor the tyres pressure status continuously and to advise the user in case of any anomalies (i.e. an decrease or increase of tyre pressure). This interface does not require special sensors to be installed on the tyres – it is managed through the vehicle CAN bus system (patent pending). The SKT170 provides a vocal message warns the driver what tyre has to be inspected.

Speed limit exceeding alert advice
The interface can be set for a predetermined speed limit and if exceeded a vocal alarm will immediately advise the driver of over-speed.

Tyre Wear
The SKT170 continuously checks the miles covered by your vehicle and alerts by a vocal message if the tyres have to be replaced or reversed.

SKT170 maintains all data in internal memory therefore if the car battery is removed/disconnected it will not require re-configuration
